The contact form
- What you send: your name, email address, an optional subject, your message, and the page you sent it from.
- Why: so we can read the message and reply.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interests in answering people who write to us.
- Who handles it: the form runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare Turnstile checks it wasn't sent by a bot. A site mailer then passes the message to our inbox. The Turnstile secret stays in Cloudflare and is never put in the site code.
- How long: we keep the email only so we can reply. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't use the message for marketing.
A hidden company field and a short timing check sit on the form to catch automated posts. Please leave that company field empty. You also need to confirm you've read this notice before the message will send.
Turnstile
The contact page loads a Cloudflare Turnstile widget. It is a security check, not an advertising cookie. Cloudflare may process technical details such as your browser and IP address to decide whether the submission is genuine. Their privacy notice is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you accept them in the cookie banner. No Google Analytics or AdSense tag is loaded today. If either is added later, it will load only after you accept, and Consent Mode keeps the storage denied until then. The cookie page lists each item and how to change your mind.
Reading the guides doesn't need an account. Calculator-style tools aren't on this site, and we don't ask you to create a profile.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Write via the contact form. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
