MAKE THE NUMBERS USEFUL

Material order cost calculator

Enter the requirement and effective quantity supplied by one purchase pack in the same units. Use your own pack price, delivery charge and any confirmed materials discount.

How the calculation works

Packs = required quantity ÷ effective quantity per pack, rounded up. Materials subtotal = packs × pack price. Discount = subtotal × entered percentage, rounded once to the nearest penny. Total = subtotal − discount + delivery.

Use the result with care

Use one unit throughout: for example, square metres on both quantity fields. Effective pack coverage must account for the product and intended use. This totals quantities, not a cutting layout or installation plan. The discount applies to materials only; delivery is added afterwards. Use the same price basis throughout and check the seller’s actual discount terms. No product coverage or discount is supplied by this tool.
