MAKE THE NUMBERS USEFUL

Counted component packs calculator

Enter the number of identical suitable components already specified for your job, such as matching handles. Add the spare count you choose, then enter the usable matching items in each pack and your own pack price.

How the calculation works

Planned components = job requirement + chosen spares. Packs = planned components ÷ usable components per pack, rounded up. Purchased components = packs × components per pack. Pack-rounding surplus = purchased components − planned components. Total cost = packs × pack price + delivery.

Use the result with care

The job requirement and spare count are your inputs, not a design or recommended allowance. Count only matching components suitable for the intended job; a mixed pack may contain fewer usable items than its headline count. The surplus is additional to the spares you chose. This does not specify fixing spacing, installation requirements, compatibility or the quantity a design needs.
