MEASURE THE SURFACE

Several surfaces.
One net area.

Add measured rectangles for your walls, floors or other surfaces, then subtract rectangular openings or areas you want to exclude. Use metres throughout.

How it adds up

Gross area = sum of each surface’s length × width. Excluded area = sum of each excluded rectangle’s length × width. Net area = gross area − excluded area.

Keep the measured rectangles separate

The calculator adds the areas you enter; it cannot detect rectangles that overlap. Split an irregular surface into non-overlapping rectangles, and exclude only areas within those measured surfaces. A zero net area is allowed when the exclusions exactly equal the gross area.

This measures area, not a sheet layout, cutting plan or installation specification. Use the product’s effective coverage and any required coats or layers in the next calculation.

Use your net measurement
