MAKE THE NUMBERS USEFUL

Working hours to days and weeks calculator

Enter the elapsed productive working hours needed by the crew, not the sum of every worker’s person-hours. Choose the productive hours available in each attendance day and how many days you plan to work in a week.

How the calculation works

Equivalent working days = planned crew working hours ÷ productive hours per day. Whole attendance days = equivalent working days rounded up. Equivalent working weeks = equivalent working days ÷ working days per week.

Use the result with care

A partly used final day still counts as an attendance day. Productive hours should exclude breaks, travel or other time not available for this work. The calculation assumes the entered work can proceed within that pattern: it does not schedule dependencies, waiting, drying, inspections, holidays or other non-working dates. No start date is entered, so the result is not a calendar completion date or a guaranteed programme.
